Motivated And Competent are delighted to be have been working with Brewin Dolphin since May 2010.
Brewin Dolphin is one of the UK’s largest independent private client investment managers. With their roots going back to 1762, they have 41 offices across the UK and Channel Islands offering a wide range of financial services and have over £23 billion under management. Their success is founded on a track record of helping private clients, trusts, charities and pension funds to create and preserve wealth.
Motivated And Competent are helping them understand some of their employees’ learning needs across a range of ICT related projects. Some of the key projects are we are working on with Brewin Dolphin aim to:
1. embed their group ethos of Treating Customers Fairly using an evolution of their TCF Dashboard which helps managers and senior management teams identify business trends and give them the MI and skills to develop staff,
2. help Investment Managers better explain the ‘risk and reward’ concept to clients, measure and record this and then create bespoke portfolios to meet their clients’ needs,
3. develop a suite of six e-learning modules, rolled out to all 1,900 staff, to help increase the appreciation of the various facets of Business Risk and their place in the Three Lines of Defence model. This will allow all employees to support the business monitor, manage and mitigate risks and act effectively, so protecting and strengthening the business.
We are using e-learning, self study and classroom learning to support these projects.
